Starting from this winter, there will be a new kindergarten, for children who don't ski:

Chez Nounours! To be found near the underground parking, it welcomes children from 36 months onwards.

Both indoor and outdoor games will be on offer.

Not to be missed : the witch's den, after a trip up in the telecabine, the kiddies make their way down to a log cabin where a lovely snack of toasted marshmallows awaits ...

La Tania, the family resort of the 3 Vallées, suggests celebrating Xmas all week long!! On the menu, numerous après ski entertainments with giant wooden games, ice sculpture, sledge races... and lots of special offers for your little ones.

Magnestick is an innovative system which improves the security of children on the chairlift, from the beginning to the end of the lift.
Two parts to the system:
- A permanent magnet, integrated into the seat, which works for the whole lenght of the lift, including when the child gets on the lift, and which is deactivated at the top of the lift.
- A back protection unit for the child, integrating a metallic element. As soon as the metallic element is in contact with the magnet, the child is « stuck » to the chairlift.

How it works :
- Getting on : From the moment the child sits down, the systèm prevents all risk of slipping when the saftey bar has not already been lowered.
- During the trip : The child, whilst conserving normal freedom of movement, is « stuck » to the chairlift during the whole lenght of the lift. The système therefore prevents all possible risk of slipping under the safety bar.
- Getting off : Even if the safety bar is raised before the arrival, the child is still safely held against the seat until the set down area is reached.

• A new network of man made snow on the pistes Bouc Blanc and Arolles; the skiing links between Courchevel 1850 / Méribel-Mottaret et La Tania / Courchevel 1850 are now guaranteed (subject to the relevant authorisations being obtained).

• Optimisation of the network of man made snow thanks to the setting up of rapid dialogue (which lets snow production start much more rapidly once the optimal conditions are reached).

No more need to wait for the connection to Méribel Village! From this winter there will be a direct bus service from La Tania to La Chaudanne. It will operate 4 to 5 times a day. So you can now more easily access the Méribel Olympic complex with swimming pool, gym and relaxation area, ice rink and 10 pin bowling. You can also reach the Altiport making it easier for walkers and cross country skiiers to get back to La Tania...

Holidays are not cheap.. But how much does it costs the planet? La Tania offers the opportunity to contribute towards the on going study of pollution and global Warming by registering your Carbon emissions on the Internet at the Tourist Office (within opening hours) absolutely free of charge.

For après ski, once the Folyères piste is closed, sledgers of all ages can enjoy themselves to the max in a specially secured area in the centre of the resort. The rest of the time, they can as usual go to the area situated next to the gondola of La Tania.
