- Do not forget to book the crèche for your children and your ski lessons.
- If you are pregnant, it is better to stay at an altitude below 1500m and always avoid going higher than 2500m.
- Likewise, for newborn babies it is usually unwise to holiday above 1500m with children of less than 18 months.
- Children really should wear a helmet because they are far more vulnerable when they fall.
- Wear warm clothes. Snow-sportswear is made to ensure the thermoregulation of your body and it therefore helps maintain a constant temperature during exercise.
- Protect your face and your child’s with a sun block that matches your skin type and apply it frequently, even when the weather is cloudy.
- Do not forget your sunglasses: in the mountain, ultraviolet rays are very strong and you can get sunburnt easily.
- For your child’s first turns on snow, use a professional from the ski schools, who will adapt his lessons to the ability and pace of your child.
- If you forget to bring your sledge, you can rent or buy one on the spot. The Tourist Office also organises sledge-races. For your children, there is a special secure area for sledges. Beware, never sledge on the ski slopes, you run the risk of being hit by a skier.
